Russell Orthodontics Smiling Senior Scholarship- Russell Orthodontics is awarding one Monroe county senior with a $500 college textbook scholarship. See Mrs. D. Smith for applications. Deadline is March 16, 2018.

Junior Auxiliary of Amory 2018 Charity Ball Royal Court- Junior Auxiliary of Amory will present their Royal Court at the 2018 Charity Ball of Feb. 24, 2018. Applicants must be a senor girl attending high school in Monroe County with at least a 2.75 GPA and plans of attending a two or four year college. One Royal Court member will receive a scholarship paid directly to the college of her choice.

Applications for the Toyota-Haley Barbour Scholarship for prospective students are located in my office in the library. This new scholarship, funded by Toyota/ICC, will award $1,250 per semester to 10 students per year. Recipients of the scholarship can receive the award for up to (4) concurrent semesters. Students must be an incoming freshman majoring in business, manufacturing, mathematics, or other programs found to support the project. Application Deadline – April 1

Mississippi Association of Supervisors County Employee Scholarship- This scholarship is for students who have immediate family member (parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, legal guardian or spouse) who is currently employed by or retired from Mississippi county government.

Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship - Jimmy Rane Foundation scholars are students who exhibit academic excellence, leadership skills and community involvement as well as activities, awards and honors, and who have demonstrated financial need in order to attend college. Minimum GPA of 3.O is required. Deadline: February 8

Nissan Scholarship - Nissan North America, Inc. provides scholarship funds for applications that will attend a Mississippi public two year college or public four year college. RiSE Scholarship Foundation -This scholarship was founded to recognize and reward students with learning disabilities that have overcome learning challenges, achieved academic success in their formative school years and will continue their educational journey by pursuing an undergraduate degree at a college or university. Applicants must be a current high school senior who had a 2.5 GPA and a documented learning disability.

Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency Scholarship- The Donor Family Council for MORA is proud to announce their annual Scholarship Program for North Mississippi Seniors. A maximum of four $500 scholarships will be awarded to deserving students who apply for the scholarship and fulfill the requirements. An essay of 300 – 750 word will be required
