Our mission is to promote the joy of reading, to nurture the development of lifelong independent learning, to support the curriculum by providing access to information in all forms, and collaborate with staff members to provide engaging learning experiences.  The goal for our Media Center at Hatley School is to create an atmosphere in which students and teachers feel empowered to become independent, effective information seekers.  We strive to provide quality resources and instruction which supports curriculum in order to promote lifelong learners who have a love of reading for both information and pleasure.
